Can the Cedar Ice Bath be used outdoors?
Absolutely. We’ve selected Handcrafted Canadian Cedar specifically for its natural resilience.
Is the Ice Bath & Chiller Waterproof?
Yes—our ice baths and chillers are engineered to be water and weather-proof. However, standard precautions should be taken for any exposed electrical components when using the equipment outdoors, and we recommend covering your chiller in extreme weather conditions.
How much does it cost to run?
The cost to run the chillers are about $0.50c-$1.50 a day, depending on usage.
All three models come with mobile app control, so you can activate the chiller only when you need it—dramatically reducing electricity usage.
Additionally, once the chiller reaches the set temperature, it will move to standby mode and only turn back on when its moved 2°C outside the set range.
Finally, the added insulation of the Cedar Plunge keeps the water cold, meaning less need for the chiller to be functioning.
Does it include a lid?
Yes the ice bath comes with a oxford cloth insulated lid that can buckle closed
How often do I change the filters?
The internally built filters will need to simply be washed weekly and will never need replacement.
The 20micron filter that comes with the chiller will need to be replaced every 5-7 weeks depending on usage
